Terms of Service
Last updated: October 7, 2026
These terms apply to your use of the Ledgr app for iPhone and iPad ("Ledgr", "the app"), made by Szymon Sikora ("I", "me"). By downloading or using Ledgr you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
The App Store
Ledgr is distributed through Apple's App Store, and your use of it is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If anything in these terms conflicts with Apple's agreement, Apple's agreement applies. Apple isn't responsible for the app or for supporting it.
Your licence
I grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Ledgr on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store's usage rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it.
Not financial advice
Ledgr is a tool for organising your own bills and money. It doesn't give financial, tax, legal or investment advice. Figures such as "left after bills", budget projections and debt payoff estimates are calculated from what you enter and may not reflect your actual financial situation. Check important decisions with your bank, lender or a qualified professional.
Reminders and payments
Ledgr doesn't pay bills for you or connect to your bank. Marking a bill as paid only updates your records in the app. Reminders depend on your device's notification settings and on iOS delivering them, so they can be late, or not arrive at all. You remain responsible for paying your bills on time, and I'm not liable for late fees, penalties or other losses caused by a missed or late reminder.
Your data
You own the information you put into Ledgr. It's stored on your devices and, if you choose, in your iCloud account, as described in the Privacy Policy. You're responsible for keeping backups. I'm not liable for data lost through device failure, iCloud problems, deleting the app, or forgotten backup passphrases.
Household sharing
When you share a household, everyone in it can see and change the shared bills, payments and accounts. Only invite people you trust, and remember that changes they make affect your records too. You can remove members or leave a household at any time.
Acceptable use
Don't use Ledgr for anything unlawful, or in a way that could harm the app, Apple's services or other people.
Changes and availability
I may update, change or stop offering Ledgr, or any feature of it, at any time. I may also update these terms. If I do, the new version will be posted here with a new date, and continuing to use the app means you accept it.
No warranty
Ledgr is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. I don't guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that its calculations will be accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, I'm not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of money, data or profits, arising from your use of, or inability to use, Ledgr. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
